Abstract
The enemies of Islam have tried to harm the infallibility of the Prophets (PBUT) in two basic ways, “extra-religious” and “intra-religious”. They try to damage this key religious principle by making those nobles look guilty in different ways. There is a place to conduct research on the infallibility of the Prophets and the doubts surrounding them, so that the issue of their infallibility can be explained in a clear and documented manner, and in this way the related doubts can be answered. In this article, the infallibility of the Prophet Solomon (PBUH) has been analyzed from the point of view of the exegetists of the two major sects of Islam, and it has been proven by adhering to general and specific evidence, and the doubts surrounding him have been criticized and investigated. The information was collected through documentary method and processed by descriptive-analytical method. The result of the research is this: Most of exegetists of the two major sects of Islam believe in the practical infallibility of the Prophet Solomon (PBUH). Shias believe in absolute infallibility and Sunnis believe in relative infallibility. They have documented their belief with general and specific evidence, both intellectual and narrative. Most of the doubts raised in this area are related to the issuance of “Abandoning the Better” (Tark al-Awla) by the Prophet and some of them are even out of the borders of “Abandoning the Better”. On this basis, the infallibility of the Prophet is an undeniable truth.
